My gggrandfather was in the hospital in Oklahoma City aand had his cancer lip operated on. We were told that he left the hospital and went to the "Poor House" amd died and had a "paupers" funeral. Can you tell me where was the "poor house" located and where he may have been buried. I found a John Williams listed in the Gish cemetery in Anadarko. His name ws John Rice Williams and lived most of his life in Evansville Ark. He was listed in the 1920 census but not in the 1930. We were also told he went to live with hs son-in-law a Winkler or Sexton. Thanks for any help. Polly Williams in Louisiana | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
