Trying to find information on James Fry, who was born about or around 1834 and was married to Betsy Leversuch in Wiltshire, Alderbury, England in 1850 and had two sons, Enoch b. November 1855 and Joseph b. Sept 1856. James, Betsy and the sons were living in her father's home in Wiltshire, West Grimstead, England in 1861 then he remarried when Betsy died, to Emma Webb, and they came to the U.S. (From Liverpool) to New York, with Joseph (13), Enoch (15), Fanny (or Frances)(7), Hellen (Ellie) (6), George (4), T (We think her name was Tamera)might also be Elizabeth(2), then William Fry (1)they left Liverpool around 1870 then came to New York in 1871. They moved to Morgan County/Scott County, Illinois and had the following children:Lora (6)and Hadley (4) who were both born in Illinois as the older children were all born in England. Enoch then married Eliza B, in 1881, then had the following children, James W, who was born around 1883 we believe, Clyde, Ralph, Percy, and Chester (According to the 1910 Scott County, Ill, census.) According to the 1920 Scott County, Illinois census, Enoch still had at home his wife Eliza B (Who's mother was b. in IL and father was b. in MO), Clyde, Percy, and Chester, while in Pike County James W was married to Jeanette Fulks (Her parents were born in Illinois)and they had the following children, Eugene, Gertrude, Allen E, Eliza Beatrice, Oliver Q (My grandfather). In 1930 the Cass County, Ill Census had the following children for James and Jeanette that were still at home: Jacob E, Gertrude L, Allen E, Eliza Beatrice, Oliver Q, Helen R, and Wilbur J.
