When posting a query, PLEASE include any and all information that you know concerning the person you are seeking to find. There are FREE searchers out here (good ones!) who see your posts everyday and we would love to be able to help you, but only posting "Searching for my birthmother" or "I was born in late 1970" and not saying anything else...is basically like saying nothing. I am using those as examples, but there are posts like that out here. Of course you may not know much about the person you are seeking and that is understandable, but in order for the right person to see your post, please put SOMEthing in there for them to identify with. If you're an adoptee, please put your full date of birth, and at least the city and state you were born in. If you know how old your birthparents were and/or their names (even first names), include that!! There are 11 states that have OPEN RECORDS for adoptees To view information about your state, go to:http://www.bastards.org/activism/access.htm It's a shame that all states don't have open records, but untill that day comes, please...if you are searching for someone, please include info in your post that will help them notice you, or give us searchers some info to work with. Even if you think that the one little piece of info wouldn't help..include it anyways. It may just be that needle in the haystack.:-) Blessings to all | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
