Looking for the ancestors of Wiley G. Walters, born 1879 in Rowan County, NC. Rumor has it his mother was a full Cherokee. He SERVED IN WWI and was married to Lillie (or Willie) Gertrude Stowe (DOB 1883) the daughter of Serena Furr, descendant of the Swiss ancestor Heinrich Furrer. Wiley and Lillie had one child: Leva Belle Walters (my grandmother) born 9-8-1904
