My maternal Grandmother's maiden was Emma Cravey, She was married on 04 Febuary 1911 in Douglas, Cochise County, Arizona to Robert Sidney Bates. She passed away in approx 1924 in Uvalde, Texas. We believe her father was from Ala. and her and her Mother were from Texas and the family had settled in Arizona. My Mother who is still living, she is 87, knows very little about her Mother Emma and nothing of Emma's family since her mother died when my Mother was four and her Father would not discuss anything about her due to the sadness at her passing. I have traced her back to this marriage date, but have not been able to find anything else about her or her family. Possibily she had a sister named Florence who remained in Arizona.
