Query Text: |
I am researching the life of Alice Silverhorne de Janze de Trafford. She was born probably btw 1896 and 1906 in Chicago to William Silverhorne and Julia Bell Chapin, mother was an heir to the Armour ematpacking family. Alice left Chicago I believe as an adult and married Comte Frederic de Janze (French) to whom she had two daughters, Nolwen (last heard of in London)and Paola (last heard of in new York). There was an incident at a French railway station where she shot her lover, Raymond de Trafford and herself - both survived and she got off with a small fine. Alice then moved to Kenya (possibly via UK) where she divorced de Janze and married Raymond de Trafford. She was in Kenya in the late 1920's and early 1930's. Her daughters were brought up by both sets of grandparents. Any assistance, information or confirmation of this info gratefully receieved!! | |||||||||||||||||||||
