Jerahmeel Powers, Revolutionary War soldier in Vermont, is my g g g g grandfather. I am decended from his youngest daughter, Cynthia. She was born in Springfield, Windsor Co., Vermont, 19 Jul 1777, and married Samuel Whitney (about 1802). They lived and died in Seneca, Ontario Co., New York from 1802-1813. Samuel died in 1808, Cynthia in 1812/13. Who were the parents of Samuel Whitney?
