James Johnson married Catherine Savage in Stokes Co. North Carolina in 1825 and moved to Grainger Co. Tenn along with his father -in-law and some other Savage family. There they raised eight children. That part of Grainger Co. became Union Co. in 1850. I need to know who James's parents were and where he and his wife are buried. The LDS records show he is the son of Reuben Johnson Jr of Charlotte Co. Va. but I highly doubt this. Any help is appreciated. Jesse Johnson | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
