I am looking for information on my Father's family. My name is Ronald Grosinksy, my father's name was Emil W. Grosinksy, his father's name was Emil O. Grosinsky, his father's name was August H. Grosinsky married to Caroline (Drevantz) Groisnsky. This is as far back as I have been able to research. I know that they left Germany (what was then Prussia) around 1892 or 3. They came to America on the steam ship "Gera" from the German port of Bremerhaven Germany. August Grosinsky was a cab driver in Germany and he came to America either before or after a cousin with the same name, August H. Grosinsky. August H Grosinsky the Cousin was married to Augusta Grosinsky. All are burried in Alpena, Alpena county, Michigan, USA. August H Grosinsky whose wife was Augsuta had one son John. John passed away in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, USA. of consemption. He was married to Hannah, Hannah Remarried and moved location unknown. We are also looking for him or his heir. We are also looking for the sister of Caroline Drevantz, she lived in Detroit, MI where she passed away on March 30, 1970. She was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Any relatives of her's still living I would love to hear from them. Any information would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
