I am searching for info about my relative who emigrated from Norway to Canada in 1923. His name: Anders Martin Bang Pedersen Grannes. He was born January 01, 1899 in Ytteren, Mo i Rana, Norway (or Saltdal, Norway). His parents: Peder Olaus Johansen Ytteren and Elise Gurine Johannesdatter Grannes. Anders Martin Bang Pedersen Grannes emigrated from Norway (departure Trondheim) August 23, 1923. The ship he travelled with from Trondheim was “Canadian”. Destination for his travel was Canada. He was unmarried at that time. I don’t have much info about him in Canada. But it was said that he settled in Western Canada; and there got married with a woman of “native heritage” and they got 2-3 children.
