Do you need help finding your Swedish roots? Just let me know if you are interested to see your ancestors through original images from the church records. I could also help you with brick walls in your genealogy from Sweden. I have access to all church records in Sweden, and use to scan original vital records as: Birth, marriage, death and clerical records. If you're interested, then you will get a computerized image sent through email. Swedish birth records shows following info: 1. Birth day, month and year. 2. Date of baptism. 3. Parents’ name. 4. Birth place. The household records are also interesting, they displays genealogical information for everyone who was living in the same farm. In the household examination rolls we can find out when and where our ancestors were born. Here we find information concerning their knowledge of the Catechism with the necessary explanations, their reading ability and the degree to which they understand what they have read. We also find out when the people attended the Holy Communion. Unfortunately the household examination rolls have not all been preserved. For most parishes they do not exist prior to the middle of the 18th century. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
