Hi. I have a hit a wall with my great grandfather Angus ROBINSON. His son's birth certificate lists Angus's birth place as Charter Town, Queensland 1872, and his marriage also in Charter Town, QLD 8 Nov 1898 to Dorcas May Simons. There is no place Charter Town, so I belive it refers to Charters Towers, and I have been unable to locate either a birth certificate or marriage certificate through the Queensland registrations office. His last known address was in Brunswick, Victoria in 1902 when after the death of his wife and 1st child he left his second child with a neighbor and 'disappeared'.
