My wife's great-great grandfather, Michael Langan, died in South Dakota in either July or December of 1885 (actual location is unknown). His wife's name was Mary (Cummings). Most, if not all, of their 13 children were born in Forrestville, Minn. prior to moving to South Dakota to farm. Any clues on how to track his actual place and date of death?
