Looking for the parents of Columbus T Carter b.abt 1840 who married Sarah J. Pool b.abt 1848 in Chambers Co in Aug 1864. Census records indicate Comumbus's parents were b orn in GA. Columbus & Sarah bore 3 children: Sarah J b.abt 1871, Alonza or Alonzo b. abt 1874 and Doctor Benjamin b. abt 1877. Doctor was the given name to Sarah's brother it seems. Cannot find Sarah after 1880. I show Alonza marrying a Jame or Jane E and living in Milltown Chambers Co. in 1910. D. Benjamin marries Camilla Gilber in 1896 I believe and they have Minnie Lee, Walter J, John E, Allbert, Mary Leah, Sarah and William.
