Looking for information regarding my uncle, Carl Richmond, who was shot and killed in 1931 when the mines were being unionized. He was 18 years old. I believe this took place in Kenvir (Black Mountain, Harlan County, KY. At the time of his death, I believe he was living with his uncle Harvey Adkisson, who was also a miner. I am also looking for informatin on Harvey Adkisson's daughters, Bettie Sue and Bobbie Lou. They attended Evarts HS in the 50's. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
