Looking for more ancestral information on James Whitehead b.1762 in Gloucester,NJ who married Sarah Wood b.1764 in Gloucester,NJ. They were married in 1785 Feb 8 in Gloucester,NJ. Their marriage produced 8 children; Abigail 1790, Sarah 1799, Ann 1800, Ruth 1803, James 1810, Mary 1811, John 1812 and Hester 1813. James's father could be William Whitehead b. abt 1734 who married Sarah Cleany b. Dec 14, 1735. Their marriage in Dec 1754 produced Mary 1755, Lydia 1757, Hanna 1759, William 1761 and Rebecca 1763 in Deleware and they were all christened at the Old Sweeds Church in Willmington, DE. I have no records to prove that James b. 1762 was a Son of William and Sarah. Looking for the link James to William & Sarah if it exists and when/where they migrated from.
