I am hoping that someone here on this “Arnold” site might be able to help me with the following family. I know little about them and pray someone out there knows about, or of or is related to them and can help me with history and other info. Most of the following is from several census and sheer hard work to find out what I can about my family. James W. Arnold- b.1856 Mississippi, possibly in Oct. of that year, probably married before. Sarah Roscoe (Rosco) Arnold-b.1865, Mississippi, possibly married before. The children: All born in Texas 1. Mittie Roggers- b.July 1888- Texas (1900 census) possibly Sarah’s daughter from another marriage. She is listed as a daughter on the census. 2. Thomas - b. Mar.1891 3. Jimmie - b. May1894 4. Henry - b. Aug. 1895, possibly 1896 5. Daniel - b. Sept. 1899 6. Theodore – b. 1902 or 1903 7. D.Cidney – b. 1905 (My grandfather, never met him) Later changed the spelling of Cidney to S. Also D. is just the Initial D. it stands for nothing. Later changed it to Dee. Also listed on the 1910 census with them is a: Willie Price, b. 1899 listed as grandson.
