I am the grandson of James Ira Van Pelt born in 1874 in Ohio. He married my grandmother, Eva May French 18 December 1897 in Denver, Colorado and they had 4 children, James, Robert, Roberta and Harold. They then divorced in abt 1909 and James remarried a lady named Mary Gracia on 28 March 1910 in Denver. Mary was from Utah and was about ten years younger. From there, I cannot find any trace of him or his new family. I have checked for death cert for James in Colorado but none exists.
