Seeking location of Puttahcahcoah Creek where it is recorded in "Indians Owning Farms" (also seeking origin of this listing of Indians Owning Farms - is it an Armstrong listing?) that the widow of half-Choctaw Jeremiah Carney, Emmahka, lived on 3 cultivated acres on the mentioned Creek with 5 in the family. Jeremiah died in early l848 so this listing had to be made in l848-49. Any suggestions on location of land and identification of the census-type listing will be appreciated.
