I'm looking for the descendants of Alexander James Patterson and Priscilla Stephens (married Dec. 27, 1805 in Cecil County, Maryland. Alexander was born in Ireland. They had a son,James Stephens Patterson, who was born Sept. 25,1808 in Cecil County Maryland. James Stephens Patterson married Nancy Grissom in Tennesse on Sept. 5, 1844. They had the following children: Sarah Patterson, James A. Patterson, George W. Patterson, Nancy Patterson, Elizabeth J. Patterson, Martha L. Patterson, John Rupert Patterson (b.Jan. 26, 1855), William H. Patterson, Alice E. Patterson and Hannah Ann Patterson (b. abt 1864). I believe they were all born in Henry County, Tennessee.
