looking for information about George W Payton,born about 1954 in IN., living in Burt County in 1880 with Mary E and quite a few Butts children. The couple had Jessie, Emanda and Anna in early 1880's and may have died in childbirth with son in about 1885. George is believed to have been shot and killed about this time and I found the girls in Antelope County in the 1885 State census. What I'm wanting is some documentation to prove any of this.
