I am trying to locate information about Daniel McLaren, possibly born in Perthshire (Alloa?) about March 1840, who subsequently went to New Zealand on the ship Avondale in 1858. He married a woman in 1864 in New Zealand. She had been born in Kilmarnock, and her name was either Annie McMinn or McQueen. I am trying to obtain information about the families of either of these persons. I am a great-grandson of this couple.
