Query Text: |
The LOVE family was the original family of a slave named Dock who was sold to the Ritchie family. In the 1890's and 1900's, Dock used to visit his family on the "Condon" Creek Indian Reservation in N.C. I haven't located a reservation by that name. I do have the name Margaret LOVE in Harris, N.C. written in pencil on an old note. It doesn't say what relation she was to Dock, if any. The Underwood family was also supposed to be related to this family. Dock was the progenator of a very large Ritchie family. Does any of this ring a bell with anyone? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
