I am Lester J. Pasco and I live at 55-Pasco Street,Libis,Quezon City,Philippines. My surname "pasco" means "christmas" if translated into english. I am trying to find out something about my ancestors. I strongly believe that they are not from Spain, if they were, my surname would have been "pascua or pascual"(Spanish equivalent). During the Spanish occupation of the Philippines the Filipinos were forced to adopt Spanish surnames. After the Spaniards the Americans occupied the Philippine Islands, followed by the Japanese then the Americans again. May be my ancestors were from America. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
