HEIMBERGER, Nicholas L. born 1861 Germany - died 1897 St. Mary's, Elk Couna bethy, Pennsylavania. Married Bertha Koehler. Had 5 children 1) Catherine (born 10 Sep William Nicholas (born 17 Apr 1892) 4) Elizabeth (born 2 nov 1896) and 5) Nicholas (born 7 Aug 1898). This is my great grandfather. I need the exact death. After his death, his children were placed in St. Vincent's Orphans Asylum of Tracany in Philadelphia as half-orphans. He worked as a tanner and is believed to have died as a result of the chemicals used to tan the hides. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
