I am researching the Sedal family of Bergen. Eilert Olay Sedal married Marie Didriksdtr on 25 Nov 1848 in Os, Hordaland. They had a son Olai(later known as Oliver) who sailed his own boat to Dunedin, New Zealand in about 1895/96 and married Emily Le Brun there in 1900. And another son Lars Olai Elirtsen Sedal who also came to Dunedin, New Zealand and married Jeusine Gerture Siversen in 1910. I am keen to find information about the Norwegian side of the family and the New Zealand one plus some details of the boat Olai sailed to New Zealand which he owned. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
