My dad's grandfather was Jim essary son of John H Essary think they came from tennesee and there is a place called Essary Springs there. They went to Stone cnty Mo. and our family evolved from there in SW Mo. Agnes acres was dad's granny. Many Essary men were listed as black smiths. Dad's mom Zena Bricker's mom was Evangeline Matthews Bricker. They lived near Aorora, Mo.
