Joshua COMMINS - b.1868 - d.1887 Ipswich, Qld. One of my ancestors was Joshua COMMINS, born 1868 at Poynton, Cheshire, England. He died at Ipswich, Queensland, Australia, on 23 Feb 1887, a fact given by an inscription on his parents' (my g.Grandparents) grave at Hazel Grove, Cheshire, England. I have no other details of how he came to be in Queensland. His parents were in farming, but Joshua could have been in mining as this industry was important in his home area. I would be very grateful to anyone who could lookup Queensland records for any info on his death.
