Looking for my Hufford ancestors. Family record says three brothers from Germany came to America in the 1870's or earlier. They settled in Oklahoma and Missouri. My grandfather was born in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. His father was William Jeremiah Hufford. William lived on a Cherokee Indian reservation. William married Maude Ane Hay. William and Maude had nine children. They were Albert, Merle, Carl, Arbie, Essie, Herbert, Norman, Theodore, and Violet. William and Maude moved to Walla Walla, Washinton and are buried there. William's father we believe was George and he may have had two brothers named Edward and Richard. If you think yor might be related to me, please contact me with any information you may have.
