I am looking for the burial place an any other information about my great-grandfather, Edgar Louis Brown. He died in 1907 in Clark County, Arkansas. Prior to that he lived in Sebastian County - Fort Smith. He was born in Galveston, Texas and was married to a Native American woman named Tenah or Hannah at one time. My grandfather Will and his twin brother Frank were born in Jefferson County. I located the brothers in 1880 but Edgar wasn't there. He supposedly was an A.M.E. Methodist minister (which I don't believe). I can find nothing at all about this man anyplace in Arkansas or Texas. My grandfather's history is also kind of shaky. He married my grandmother in 1901 and he was in Perry County, Arkansas in about 1896 but where he was before that or after that until 1901, everything is supposition. I don't know what they were hiding. Supposedly at one time they worked at the Ward Hotel in Fort Smith. Then they were supposed to have worked on the Ward Steamship Line. The brother settled in Alma where he died. Will settled in Conway County where he died.. but no Edgar and nothing else about Tenah or Hannah. Please help me solve this mystery. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
