Am looking for connections to Phineas (or Phenias) Davis and wife Mary Loyd. They were married in Greene co.TN on Dec.26,1804 and moved to Wayne co.KY sometime between that date and the time of the 1810 census. Have found no connection between these two and any other siblings, parents or children other than one son, Nathaniel Thomas Davis, b.abt1811 in Wayne co.KY. There are quite a few Davis and Loyd families, both in Greene co.TN and Wayne co.KY at the time. Mary Loyd supposedly died in about 1816, possibly in Wayne co.KY, but might have been in Indiana. Phenias remarried to Esther Fuller in 1817 in Indiana. Nathaniel Thomas Davis married Malinda Oden in abt.1830 in Roane co.TN and they then moved to Alabama where all of their children were born. They moved to Leon co.TX in the mid to late 1840's, along with all of their children. I have other information about their descendants. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
