my gr, gr grandfather, joseph norris from ohio, married a woman named ruth a rebout around 1850. she was born in ohio. she gave birth to george washington norris but, the 1860 censes show joseph with another wife, and several more children, the oldest being about 4 yrs younger than george. i've hit a brick wall with her. if anyone knows anything about her would you clue me in? by the way, to clarify which joseph norris i'm talking about, his dad's name was joshua, born 1789 in york pa, his mother was elizabeth (smith?), though some indicate his mother was martha (?), joshua's first wife. thank you, becky
