I was born August 21, 1980, in Tulsa, OK. My birth mother was 16 at the time and I was adopted through Catholic Charities shortly after my birth. According to records, she was 5'2" at the time, 99 pounds, had dark hair and a medium complexion. No medical problems on her side, my fraternal grandmother had lupus. My father tells me the name "Pierce" came up in conversation but he doesn't know what it referred to. My birth mother listed her interests as cooking and English, my father art. I recently found a letter she wrote me in which she told me how much she loved me, how this was the best decision for both of us, and how she thinks about me and prays for me every day.
