I am looking for information regarding the history of my family in Seychelles and before. I would like to hear from any Morgan, Morel, Mellon, Confait, Smith, Adeline, Payet, and Jumeau from Seychelles, Sicobo from Madagasca, D'arcourt from Spain, Knowles from (Liverpool) UK, Maine from USA or Joachim from Belgium All above are connected to my family through the common location of the Seychelles over the last 4 generations. I am Shaun Christopher Morgan, son of Gilbert Marcel Morgan, who is the son of Mark Paul Morgan (La Digue), who is the son of Anthony Garcia Morgan, who is the son of Frank Morgan OR Mark Paul Morgan is the son of Louis Aime Jumeau son of Jean Baptist Jumeau (not to certain who my Great Grandmother Theresine Maine (daughter of David Maine from USA and Theresine Sicobo) had the children with though she was married to Anthony at some stage!?!?) I am the Great Great Great Grandson of General August Philippe D'arcourt of Spain (Great Great Grandmothers Father) I understand from Tony Jack Morgan who has taken over my research of the family, the Morgan's in Seychelles are from the Garcia Morgan's from the Azures in Portugal. There seems to be a connection with the Azures Garcia Morgan's and Joachim from Belgium which also seems to match the amount of names leaving Europe in the 1700/1800's to the USA on ships logs.
