A searching for connections to the family of Daniel McKenzie born November 28, 1823 in Grantown near the Spey River, Cromdale Parish, Scotland. He married Catherine Stalker born April of 1827 in Newburgh, Fife, Scotland. They were married November 11, 1848 in Dollar, Clackmannon, Scotland. They had children Catherine in 1848 who died shortly after birth, Peter Stalker McKenzie born September 11, 1849 in Limekilns, Fife, Mary Ann born October 5, 1851 in Edinburgh, David Stalker McKenzie born October 1, 1853, Edinburgh, John Stalker McKenzie born September 18, 1856 in Georgetown, Onterio, Canada, Duncan Stalker McKenzie born September 16, 1858 Georgetown, Onterio, Canada, Catherine Stalker McKenzie born March 13, 1863 Detriot, Michigan, and twins Daniel and William Stalker McKenzie born December 5, 1868 in Grand Chaine, Illinois. To Daniel was born at least one brother named William that came to Canada West with them in about 1856. I have been unable to connect Daniel to any McKenzie in the area he has stated he was born. Actually have not been able to find the parents of a Daniel McKenzie anywhere on the date that he said he was born. Have much from him down but, need to find parents and brothers or sisters.
