Researching Mary A. Reeves b1834 who filed for Civil War widow's pension 10 June 1889 living at Newburgh, Al. Her husband's name was Seabourn Reeves b1828 died March 1865 POW. His father was Burgess Reeves b1794 SC who married Eliz Tanner 1815 in Jackson Co Ga. They appeared in DeKalb Co Ga 1850 census then the family moved to Randolph Co Al where Seaborn appeared 1860 census with Mary A.; dau S.E. age 8; dau Misouri age 6; son J.M. age 4. I believe the dau S.E. age 8 to be my great grandmother. I need to research 1870 Franklin Co Al census for Mary A. Reeves family to see if dau S.E. is still living with her. (My S.E. was living elsewhere in 1870). Any info on this family would be appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
