Query Text: |
Seeking connections to the ancestry of my greatgrandfather John C. Jackson, said to have been born in Chester County, PA in about 1815, of parents whose origin was Canada. There were 5 John Jacksons there in 1840 and at least one there in 1850. By 1855, he was in Lake County, IL and had married a widow named Anastacia Redmond Nolan. He died in 1896 in Berrien County, MI and is buried there with his wife. The image here is that of their son John Charles Jackson (1859-1925), my grandfather, and husband of Elizabeth Cavanaugh. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
