I am looking for info on Thomas Spratt, b. 1847 in Ireland. In 1870, he married Jane Kerbery (b.1851 in St. Helens, Lancashire, England). They lived in Lancashire and had 4 children: William Thomas b. 1871, Robert b. 1874, John b. 1876, and Sarah E. b. 1878. The boys were born in Lancashire, but the daughter is listed in the 1881 England & Wales census as being born in Australia. If that is true, then Thomas (and family?) may have lived there between 1876 and 1881. He died between 1878 and 1881 - his wife is listed as a Widow in the 1881 England & Wales Census.
