Im looking for information on G.W. Riley of Franklin Co Tenn. He was in W.W. 2 and on the USS Nevada when it was in the Normandy invasion. Also he was on the ship when a suicide plane hit it. I found out that happened on March 27, 1942 One of my hold backs is his name. On his birth and death certs it just reads G.W. I know he also went by Johnny and Red I dont have his SS # He was born in 1925 in Tenn and Died in 1951 Franklin Co Tenn
