I'm looking for parents and other data re: Caroline D. Gulick, born in Clearfield Co., PA, in 1844. She m. Shepherd H Bibler (1847-1881, Ohio) in Etna, OH, in 1870; d. 1918 in Fairfield Co., OH. Shepherd was son of Jonas Bibler and Christena Mechling. He and "Carrie" had a daughter who died as infant, plus four sons. The sons' names are somewhat at issue re varied sources but included Otto (1871-1925, m. Anna McConnel), Jonas Frank (b. abt 1875), Earl, and Marion (d. 1900). Two of them also may have been named James and William, according to 1880 census. Carrie said her family lived in Curwinville until moving to Reynoldsburg Franklin Co., OH abt 1856; to White Co., IN, in 1866, back to Reynoldsburg 1868, then in Basil, Fairfield Co., OH, after marrying Shep in 1870. Shep's father Jonas and Jonas' 2nd wife Lucinda Beery became guardians of Shep's children after Shep's death in 1881. Otto, Frank and Earl mostly lived in Columbus OH.
