I am trying to find family, that is parents, grand parents, and beyond for one Mary Templeton, who was born about 1778 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. She was married on 10 June 1807 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania and died in 1817, probably in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. She married one Robert Ross, son of Simon Ross of Hopewell, Newton, Tyborn, and Westpensboro. I note in the 1790 Cencus, that besides Simon Ross, there was one William Templeton and one John Templeton, also listed as living in Hopewell, Newton, Tyborn, and Westpensboro. I wonder if any of these could connect as the father of Mary Templeton. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
