Looking for info about Hiram bell from the Hastings county area. He married Victoia Gerow in 1878 in Thurlow township. He was a brickmaker. He is absent from the family in the 1901 census. I found Victoria with her three daughters Tempa, Bessie, and Alma living together in Belleville in the 1901 census. I found a Hiram Bell in Manitoba in 1901 who was a brickmaker ( and the right age) but he says he is a widower. How do I know if this is my Hiram. Bessie married a man called Alex Donaldson. Tempa married twice - Eveleigh, and Wardhaugh. She also had some involvement with a Van Nort. Any help would be helpful. Thank you, Cathy | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
