I am trying to find the parents of John Leaman (Lemon) b. in Pennsylvania in 1756, md. Diana Patterson. He was born in a Scotch-Irish settlement and Diana is from Ireland so we suspect his parents are Irish but we haven't found anything yet to help us identify them. His tombstone spells the name "Leaman" but his wife's tombstone is "Lemon." Posterity has continued with the "Lemon" spelling but I'm not certain that is correct. Any leads would be appreciated!!
