I am looking for family of Silas Wells. In the 1860 census of Martinville Tw. ship Clark, Co. Il.Shows him as being 50 years old. His wife was Mary Ann Smith Workman. She was 42. Had his stepson Josiah Workman,living with him plus John,Eli Nancy,Elizabeth,Sarah,Mary, Carper, Cyrus. Another son was born by name of William. He died in 1866 but can find nothing else on this family. Except Cyrus who was my grandfather and a little Of William.I also have informatin that he was born in Ohio,Knox co. in 1810. Married his wife there in 1842.
