George Gerd Gerdes and Gesche Franzen Gerdes came to Menard County in 1868 with their five children, Ubbe, Mary, Charles, Frank, and Anna from Aurich, Hanover. They could hane been related to Jane, 67, Hermann, 38 and his wife Hanna all residents of Menard Co. or others. They left after two years for Ford County. Any connections to any of these would be appreciated.
