Query Text: |
I think my great-grandmother was Annie or Anna Donnelly who married a DeVore. She and he are in the Maryland census in the 1800s and later she is a widow who is living with her daughter, my great aunt, Elsie Devore. In one census she is listed as 17 with her husband, George W. DeVore and her mother, Mary Donnelly as all living together. Someone in the family thinks that Annie may have come from New jersy and that her brother had a bar somewhere in Fredericksburg, Maryland. The bar had an Irish name to it. My grandmother, Annitta DeVore married a james H. McQuay in Baltimore City, Baltimore Maryland. Nettie was the second daugher born to Annie. Ther was one child who died. I am at a total loss on this one. A dead end. Thanks Annitta | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
