I am hoping to find out some information on Johnus & Mary Naylor originally from Yorkshire. They settled in Dunedin. Their daughter Mary Ellen married William Howard who was my great grandfather. William apparently worked at Howard & Gregg fellmongery in Dunedin, then moved to Lindis where he was a store keeper. William and Mary had 8 daughters most of who were born in Cromwell. I plan to visit NZ in March & April, and will follow up on the small lead I have in Dunedin. Other names of interest are Richard & Caroline Gregg, they arrived in NZ from Belfast on the Lady Jocelyn. They spent 7 years in Lyttleton, Richard worked for Hawkins & co, before moving to the FortyMile Bush near Pahiatua. Also John James from Nelson. m Ann Beameley, then Ann Curtis. He was originally from Liverpool UK. Settled and died in Nelson. I would love to hear from anyone who has any information on these relatives. Many thanks Alison Frowd.(James) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
