Thomas Jefferson Powell was born 1851 in Texas, believe him to have died in Bolivia.He married LOUISA AMBLER JOHNSON March 6, 1875 in San Saba County, Texas, daughter of David J Johnson & Mary Ann Macon. She was born in 1850 in Coosa County Alabama....I find Thomas living in Diamond Creek , Chase County Kansas with his father Enoch and Nancy and all the siblings, Nancy died in 1871, Enoch , in 1875, looks like the children all went back to Texas where they were born, In 1880 census in Mc Culloch co Tx Thomas Powell is 29 years old, born in Texas living with his wife Louisa age 24, born Alabama, and sons Thomas , age 5, Josephus, age 3 and Enoch , age 1,,,,supposedly they went to Bolivia early 1900, married into the culture, and ended up with financial problems, the parents were supposedly killed and the Powell brothers turned outlaws, several generations of this family tell the same story....but we have not been able to prove that they died there, they should have lived up until the 1930's...the children were Joseph Daniel Powell, Thomas Powell, Enoch, Nathaniel, Hugh , & a daughter Artie...just would like to be able to know that they were there and died there.....hopefully putting an end to a long search,
