Searching for Mitchell family history in Belmont county, Ohio. John C. Mitchell married Susan Jane Jennings in 1866 and lived in the St.Claire / Bellaire area of Belmont County. Johns parents were Joseph (born about 1815) and Lydia Mitchell.Johns Brother was George Mitchell(born about 1844) Sisters Sarah J.(born about 1852)and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Mitchell Clark (born about 1854) Josephs parents were Henry and Elizabeth Hoover Mitchell.
