I am looking for Joel Smith b. 1811 in North Carolina, He married Phebe or Pheobe Carter m. 8 Jan 1843 in Grainger county, TN. I know their children, I know his parents was father Isaac Smith and Elizabeth Furr? I know they moved to Greene county IL. but I can't find out if Joel and Pheobe Cater had any siblings or who their parents was.
